A small update...

I received the body recently, painted it and got on the track on Saturday... damn, this little car can fly... I got a couple new sets of tyres too (slicks)... Sorex 28R, 30R, 32R, 36R and a set of 40Rs...
the higher the number, the harder the compound (this what i have understood from some reading)...though they made the car handle a lot better, I still have a lot work to do regarding on my driving...

I was really impressed with the performance of the car though... when the tyres heated up, it ran like it was on rails... I got a little over confident at times and pushed the car beyond its threshold...
one bad corner lead to a broken rear control arm which was relatively easy to fix the following day... Sunday i went back to the track to get some time on the asphalt, but the track was a little busy with nitro
guys practicing for a race... so i decided to wait for the track to clear before going to get my laps in... in waiting, i got a little bored, so i ran the car in the parking lot parallel to the track straights... from a
standing start, the car was fast!!! it easily overtook the nitros that were already rolling.. little did i know, the car picked up a stone and flung it on the front belt leaving a big cut across it... the belt did not get
past the first lap of my practice... so, more down time before i can get some laps...
