I think if we want a 4x4 baja we are going to have to make one ourselfs.
Now that BL power is avaible I think it will be much easier to do.
If HPI does make a 4x4 baja if will favor the gas version use belts to get power tot eh front.
There is a "knock off" company that makes a 4x4 baja and it uses belt drive to power the front wheels. You can find it on ebay.

If they stick with the Baja platform yeah probably. MCD and Cen (or whatever they are rebadging as CEN) at very least have 4WD gas versions with dogbones that go through the gas tank.

I saved it off and don't remember the url, but I saw someone who modded their Baja to have belt driven 4WD. Rather shoddy, but at least the concept seems doable. I'm sure Mike could come up with a really nicely packaged conversion.
