the ipanema tires are the best on road tires. Road rages suck, regardless of the tire type, I have had a few of them come apart. A few companies make hard foam tires for 1/8 scale buggies, and there are a few different rubber tires that work well too.

Looks like a cool build. Do you have any current pics? Did you make a rear chassis brace to sturdy up the rear of the chassis?
