Always to do it the weird way, looks like Chris Fine does indeed use a clutchbell on his cars.........even though he carries the mod1 and 32p pinions. They don't look too special to me though, and I've heard horror stories of people dealing with Chris and mystery charges appearing on their credit cards as well as him just generally being an arse. Sometimes he fakes his knowledge of car stuff too because he's a boat guy, not sure if the clutchbells instead of a pinion is an example of that or not.
Another thing, it's kinda like a crawler: why buy it built when you can have more fun building it? Built not bought all the way!
Since my topic has been brought back up, will update you:
I've purchased the EB4, comes with flat chassis. Got some allu' too (250x250x5mm) to make motor and servo mount out of and I've orderd some hardened steel pinions. I've got velcro for batteries. I would use plastic battery trays from Mike but the postage to the UK was alot, just for some plastic tubs, which I can understand, sorry.
I'm starting to drill out the allu for the motor mount, it is looking good! Needed to move the servo too, so it is standing vertical not horizontal, which requires me to make a new mount for it. :)

In the video the motor looks more like a Wanderer XL, blue anodising? I thought the 1940 was black.
