Must be nice when snow is still a novelty. I'm in the upper peninsula of Michigan and the snow just piles up all winter. This year hasn't been so bad, but still have a lot.
The cities of Houghton/Hancock are the home of Michigan Tech University where I went to school, and only a few hours north of where I live now. In 1978 about 390" of snow fell over the winter there! http://www.weather.com/outlook/weath...0-12-07?page=9 |
