The 8s from Castle was a let down for me. But isn't it 10s capable with mechanical brakes?
If Lutach was able to aquire 10s capable esc's for a reasonable price, why can't Castle do the same?? And his had motor brakes. Omit the datalogger and built bec.

The build in datalogging is cool, but I opted to get the 50hz eagletree logger with the 10hz gps receiver instead. That way I can use it with all my vehicles. The telemetry on the MGM is a pretty cool option too. So hard to keep up with RC technology these days.

Lutach was working with someone in China who manufactured them specifically for him. He went through some R&D timing, and ended up with a pretty nice ESC for $250-$300 range that was 10S capable.
