I guess it's easy to assume that everybody here has the same soldering problems that they have over there in the kiddie forum

I clamp my wire to a piece of plywood on my kitchen counter (my workbench) with one of these:



I've used various techniques to hold my bullet connector in place while I solder - it usually involves placing the tool that is closest at hand up against the bullet to keep it from moving. Works every time.



(I've used Krylon Fusion more than once to paint Lexan - I've been happy with the results but I'm not going to recommend it to you)




(I've never built a truck for $12.48 though)

Two video's of soldering 6.5mm bullets I made for a member here, and a short explanation of series and parallel.

I usually use a bench vise, but I was in a hurry to get him the info...


If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...
