My issue with heating the shaft is that it will expand, and I really want to shrink the shaft, or exand the magnet. Pretty sure you are not supposed to get the magnets over 200f, so I will try to get it up to 180 or so, while it is setup in the press. If I destroy it I do not care, it is useless as is.
