My first video ever! Huge air! Flips, breakage! 6s! Check it out!!! - 05.13.2011, 05:11 AM

Here it guys. My first attempt at video editing.

The movie was shot in 60p or 60 frames per second which is incredible quality..

But unfortunately I had to compress it too many times before I put it on youtube.

I uploaded all the vids to my computer with the Sony software - then opened them with my video editing software, then saved the finished video (compressed w/ video editing software) and then uploaded to youtube (compressed again by youtube).

So I'm a little iffy on how the quality turned out. 720p looks better to me and is less choppy than 1080p for some reason. I dunno..

Let me know what you think!

Oooh, landed all the jumps in time with the music. Nice vid for a first! I had to laugh at your unco-operative wheel.

pinkpanda- It took me a solid 10 hours to make the video, lol.

Trimming the videos to flow like that with the music is rediculously time consuming - especially for a newb like me. Then on top of that you have the transitions and the text.

My next video should take me a LOT less time to make now that I know how to do it.

brainanator- If I torqued em down anymore I would break the wheel, lol. I should probably stop periodically during the run and check them.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Jon.

Thanks dude!

Yah triple backflips are intense. Four is just downright nuts but definitely possible.

My truck is XL too, flips a good bit slower than a stock length flux would.

I have stock length flux in pieces here that is waiting to be built from the ground up. Just need to find the time.

Thanks again

Jon

What editing program did you use? It looks way nicer than my vids, but I only take maybe an hour or so to edit mine down using Windows Live Movie Maker. Crap, but it's free, and gets the job done.

Great vid! Its nice to see people shooting vids of their truck on dirt/grass instead of the usual pavement pounders that people usually do.....boring. Does your truck have the BP diffs? Ihad the same problem with a wheel nut on my flux. I could tighten it untill i thought something was going to break and it would still come off! Probably happened 7 or 8 times and only once did i find the stupid nut again. It was always the same wheel that came off, even after i used loctite. Very frustrating. I think it had something to do with the wheel starting to strip so you might want to check that out.

Built Ford tough, with Chevy stuff.

Nice vid. Good job landing those jumps as well. I had a similar wheel nut prob on another of my rigs...it is frustrating for sure.

I give your video 9.5 stars out of 10. I would have given it 10 stars if you lost a wheel while going off the ramp.
