Well, I don't have a login for Traxxas' web board, and don't really want to get involved there.

We design and build ALL Castle logo'd ESCs in our production facility in Kansas. I personally designed the new Traxxas marine controller from scratch. It is not a "waterproofed" Mamba Monster, it is an entirely new design. We don't build anything that we don't design.

The other ESC is not built by Castle, not warranted by Castle, not designed by Castle, has nothing to do with Castle.

The motors that say "Castle" on them are built by Castle Holdings LLC in China, using the same design as the 1410 motor (just double magnet and stator length -- 1420-1800kV)
