Savage flux xl build

Freddy what you have done is pretty much what I have on the go. On my work bench is a Savage XL getting a conversion done on it. I am also using the Alza TVPs and the 1717 mount/clamp (what ever it is called). Actually I have pretty much Alzafied this thing with pretty much every part Alza makes for the Flux. The only thing I forgot to order is the servo plate which I will get soon anyway. Gotta say that Dejan does some fine work.

Since I am going to use the Mamba XL on it a custom ESC mount will be necessary anyway. Thinking of mounting it above the transmission, just under the roll bar. Not sure how that will play out as yet.

Q: When you said the 25T pinion don't fit, which size spur was that with? Stock 44T?

With 21/44 gearing, 6S batts and the 39T idler gear you will be knocking on the door of 70mph and thats without even factoring in any tire ballooning. That is seriously fast for a Savage.
