It's not only electronic principles in play here, there are some basic laws of physics which prove the argument true as well.

Unfortunately many people make assumptions about how things work without actually understanding the science behind them. Whether regarding as "magic" but said individuals I will not speculate.

The thing is that it's really futile and pointless to argue with said individuals over the internet. Believing you are right with no other possibilities is the epitome of ignorance.

Me personally, I don't believe anything anyone posts on youtube and don't bother posting there myself.

It depends on the driving style too, but generally, when a motor is undergeared, the driver is almost all the time at full trottle, making the motor spin at full RPM.
And at high RPM, there is a lot of magnetic losses (directly linked to RPM). The no load power corresponds to the air drag and magnetic losses.

that is a little ignorant as well. not everything on youtube is a lie. there are some very good, professional documentaries on youtube that use factual information and not opinionated and biased garbage.

sorry, i'm not meaning to call you out or start anything, i am just trying to make a point

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

I was referring to comments, not videos, which is what this discussion is about.
