Hi,

Does any one has problem installing a smaller pinion like 22t with a 1520 motor The 5mm chassis is blocking the tools so you cant tighten the 2 outer screw. I have correspond with alza racing, and he has come out with a solution. Still waiting for the modified motor plate and mount to reach me.

all 5mm chassie and stock motor mounting have the same issue, i have 4mm and the 1717 mount and have good clearance.

Have experience the same issue as you mention with tcs plates and stock motor mount

will update when receive the modified motor plate and mount. Let see if it will solve the issue. Really dont want to go through the hassle of dismantling one side of the tvp just for changing the pinion.

Have received the modified motor plate and motor mount. Yes the modification works. Now i can change to a smaller pinion without having to dismantle one side of the tvp . Nice to deal with a company that is willing to listen to the customer.
