Interesting way to waterproof electronics

I'd love to know if you could still connect other devices to the treated devices, seeing as how all the contacts inside the various ports are now covered & insulated, which presumably prevents electrical connections form forming ( such as plugging in a device to a usb port etc ). This stuff seems a lot like CorrosionX...
