Hi.I've got 1 & 1/2 rush evo's.I want to convert one to brushless,I never had any trouble with the gear box, even when running 30% nitro Anyone have any ideas what amp esc and brushless motr I'd need.I've got 4 x 4000mah lipos, charger etc, & am planning to get the stuff from hobbyking, hopefully the european warehouse too. Thanks in advance

Sorry, I steer clear of motors and ESC's from HK... Have piles of turnigy lipo's and 5 GT3B remotes as well as a few chargers from them.

I believe ESC's and motors have to be quality items. Castle Creations and Neu for me, not cheap but very very reliable.

If I HAD to get them from HK I would go with the highest spec stuff they sell. Trackstar 150A looks to be a clone of the Mamba Monster and may last long enough to enjoy, just remember there is no customer support so anything you buy from them is disposable even if it's dead on arrival.

Go large and low KV on the motor. 4S at 14.8v dictates a motor in the range of 2400 to 3000 KV.

Really I'd just save up and buy a MMM/2650KV combo and never look back. If you need support Castle is at the very top of my list of good people to deal with. Maybe a MMP/2400KV combo if space defines a 36mm diameter motor...

If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

Not trying to bust your bubble but I would steer clear of a Erush, don't get me wrong I love the rush evo, but that's only becuase it was one of my first rc cars, the problem with the car was the IDLE gear in the tranny, it's plastic and very weak, HPI made a heavy duty one out of a harder plastic but it still wasn't very good, I stripped several while running the car nitro, brushless I'm sure I'll tear them apart!!!! And I'm not sure if you can still even find that gear, if you strip it......good luck!!!

Either way wish you the best, either way you go just be aware of that gear!!!
