Well I'm back in with the MGT crowd. The Savage thing was cool for a while, but I got tired of my 1520 raping the HPI Bulletproof diffs (I shredded 3 properly shimmed BP diffs, ripped the teeth off the rear pinion of all 3), and the durability really wasn't that much better due to the Flux XL weighing in at about 15 pounds fully RTR. So back to the MGT it is, can't beat the ease of maintenance, bomb proof driveline, and of course the all mighty center diff. The MGT will yet again be powered by a 1520, MMM, and 6S LiPo, Futaba 2.4 and an Ace servo for the controls. Cleaned up my center diff motor mount and had it powder coated a metallic blue and it looks awesome. I replaced the broken shock towers on it, next order of business will likely be aluminum knuckles machined for 8x16mm bearings, HPI Hellfire stub axles, and extended 17mm hex hubs so I can ditch the now outdated and overkill 23mm hexes.

I've been trying to think of a good name for the truck, since its pretty much stock aside from being converted to electric, "Plain Jane" maybe?
