best thing I have found to put on dogbone ends / in cups is melted wax. Just heat up the dogbone a little and melt wax all over it. Stops squeaking, doesn't collect dirt, last quite a long time.

After trying so much stuff over the years, that is what I ended up doing and it does work very well, it does offer enough lubrication to keep all the parts squeak free, dirt and dust doesn't stick very well to wax, water doesn't stay on wax and it keeps the rust out also. Real cheap and highly effective.


No brain, no headaches.
