I was going to say sikes is a member here and he signed on for a minute this afternoon so I didn't bother waiting to see his post. I thought he was going to say.

"I got some rotors that castle shipped out during the big 1/8th motor sale; because they had shipped 1717's with a 6mm shaft instead of a 5mm shaft. But I liked the 6mm shaft and have sold the motors and had these left over. "

I honestly don't know though

Sheesh Guys.

What's going on here?

Yes, I did buy thousands of dollars worth of motors at the Castle Motor Sale.

Does anyone want to see my motor collection?

I think Linc might have more stuff than I do though.

So you are claiming that these fit both the original 1717 and the XO-1 edition? That's what I'd like clarification on (see my post #2 above).

Yeah, be careful -- the XO-1 edition 1717 is NOT the same as our original 1717. The XO-1 1717 motor was completely redesigned.

You may want to further clarify that it is for the 1580kv version rather than saying it works with all kv ratings - just so you don't have to deal with any unhappy customers.

That statement is true.

Kv rating of any motor is not established by the rotor.

Kv rating is a result of the number of turns in the wind.
