Thanks for checking out the video guys! I really was thrilled yesterday to drive it.

Yes and I even told myself while programming the ESC yesterday to not forget my temp gun and I forgot it. Was a little too excited to get out the door and head to the gym to run it......LOL!! Cannot wait to drive it again now that she has a run under her tires.

Looks nice, runs nice, and seems to handle nice as well. Good to see you playing with your work, and the picture in the R/C CAR ACTION magazine does not do it justice IMO. I would have liked to see more pics and a fair write up about the truck. Anyway great work as usual Joe.

The Lightning is now featured on the RC Car Action website.

I wish they would have stuck a couple more pictures up of it since the web is much easier to post stuff up on. I sent them 12+ pics to use. Oh well, it is cool anyways!!

Thanks man! Lets hope I will get a good shot at Truck of the Year. But it will probably lose to some thrashed out looking scaler truck that was built out of brake line.....LOL! Not saying that is not cool cause it is but they just do not look all that nice. I think last years ride of the year looked like a P.O.S......haha

Picked up some more parts for brushless projects.

I mocked up the F/R ends to a Thunder chassis and some UE Star wheels I had. I have a complete EMaxx transmission I bought off of Ebay with a full Ultramaxxed kit in it that I might turn into a Summit type EMaxx. Something with some nice big tires and waterproof electronics. Using the EMaxx trans I will have first and second gear.

Here is the mock up just because I didn't want to pack the VBS away, they are too cool to look at.....

I also had some Big Kahuna rims that I mounted a set of Badlands on and the rims just seemed too big and deep for the badlands so I swapped out the tires with the IMEX DD's I got on the UE Wedge rims I got in this last buy.

The pic you cannot tell as much but the IMEX tire is much wider than the Pro Line tire. Still not sure if I will keep the DD's on the Big Kahuna rims. I need something that is really going to compliment those rims. They are very nice...maybe another set of Mashers.

Thanks for stopping by.

I didn't like the IMEX tires on the Big Kahuna rims so I swapped them back over and started messing around with the Predator and mounted the previous body back on it with the wing and glued those tires up to some UE Wedge 3's so I can get this lady outside and see how she does in the dirt.

Making sure the tread is the right way.....

Insta Flex+ !

Ready to roll....

I will catch some video when I take her out to play.
