fuel economy is going up as the car breaks in. When I got it, 23 was average. Now its in the 26mpg range with the same trips. highways is 32-35mpg.
The shorter gearing kills the highway fuel economy. But its fairly economical. The jump to premium really isn't that big of a deal.
