IMO, the Lehner is made better, but not worth 2X the cost. I don't have any experience with the MGM ESC's. I am running a Lehner Basic 5300 and BK Warrior 7718 in my Tamiya TB EVO III touring car though. I am very happy with that combo...so long as I can keep the car from kissing the curb.

I am currently running 17:87 gearing and have a hard time keeping the front wheels on the ground unless I roll on the throttle. I'm hoping to have my 9 cell packs built in the next couple of weeks to see if this thing can grow some wings.
