Anyone local to Toronto Canada? - 06.28.2006, 07:42 PM

A track FINALLY opened local to Toronto after sooooo many years of having nothing!

The best thing about it, is that it's electric only, and they have created an "extreme mod open" class that allows any scale electric or electric conversion vehicle to race!! 1/8th buggy, monster truck, etc....

So far there's only about 2 or 3 of us that show up with conversions, but I'm hoping there's others local to Toronto that are interested in racing their conversions.

Let me know, and I'll post the details!

oh wow, glad to see there are people local!!

it's so much fun driving 1/8th scale conversions on that track - I can't wait for others to race against! it's unfair running against 1/10th scale, so it will be good to have some other big guys to run with ;)

we usually run on sundays (registration at 10am, races start at 11am) except on long weekends when the race days are pushed to the monday (for example this long weekend, race day is on Monday)

the track IS open 7 days a week apparently though, so you can head over to practice whenever you want.

here's a flyer that has most of the info, let me know if you need anything else... but please, BRING YOUR CONVERSIONS!!! I really want the extreme mod open class to take off!

We only had 2 people with "extreme mods" show up last Sunday, so we only had a practice race... but it was still a lot of fun!

Common you "extreme mod" guys local to Toronto - come out and show us your stuff!!!

Here's a vid of the practice race... a g2revo vs mbx r2 conversion
