The rustler would be good because you don't have a ball diff to worry about and keep adjusted.Also you can bulletpfoof the transmission.

I actually like the look of the new one,i'd keep it fairly stock personally,metal idler like sqee said and i'd use the sliders but get the steel yokes for them.I've used them on a truck i built before and they hold up very well and would be the driveshafts i'd choose.

Also the stock esc and motor are worth having,could use them for winter driving or something or for big jumps if you don't want to launch your expensive BL system like that.Apart from that i'd probably put turnbuckles and maybe an extended chassis if wheelies are a problem.

If you want to race you need a Losi or Associated,the xxxts make good bashers ( 2wd stadiums are inherently very strong) but you need to keep the diff and slipper adjusted properly and any ball diff needs rebuilding failry often.I've never used a T4 but there's little to choose between them apart from brand loyalties,the Losi RTRs come with good radio gear.
