These pins are pressed in place. It takes quite some force. You could use the vice and a piece of steel/aluminium that has got a hole in it. Usually when the pin gets this loose this easy, something is wrong with the shaft. Don't heat the shaft. It's heat treated and will loose strength when you heat it too much.

I replace these pins every now and then, but its uncommon that they pop out like that.
