I think the best thing to do is to just get a pack of pinion gears by Robinson Racing and just playing around with them until you find the gear that gives you the best performance/heat ratio.

I don't know how heavy a T4 is, or the rest of the ratios (diff, tranny), but my Jato was clocked at 47mph on 2s2p moli cells with 54/22 spur/pinion, with a 4600 motor. That is pretty close to what my calculator comes out to. Of course, it depends a lot on how stable the voltage is under load. A higher capacity battery will drop less under load and will consequentially go faster, especially with a high kv motor like the 5700.

Yeh I've just bought about 5 pinions, ranging from 12-22
