The e-maxx is a lot of fun, even in stock form. Put the shocks all the way to the outside on the lower arms to minimize traction rollovers and overall increase it's handling. I upgraded the shocks first, then slowly replaced/upgraded parts as they broke on my first e-maxx. An aftermarket chassis will make a tremendous difference in performance/handling characteristics as well as making more cells an easier task.
