Yeah I contacted Mike via email but never got a response. So instead of putting a big advertisement like I put elsewhere I'm trying one on one basis... I figured since my stuff really doesnt get in competition with his, why not. Sorry if I've offended anyone.

Yeah, the plettenberg has super HIGH resistance, don'T know why. Its hard to turn by hand ! But no, no cogging with the quark and im on the first setting, i still have 3 upper if it ever tries to cog on me. The packs are maxamps 8000mah lipos. Plenty of rip, plenty of runtime. 4s setup. I might get up to 5s eventually but problem is I don't think I can run a 2s and a 3s together.. won't the 3s try to charge the smaller one before going out to the motor ?

Anyways, the pinions are the century ones from towerhobbies. The 14th got eaten in like 3 mins. and the others are fine, a little worn, but very good for the price. I'm trying to get a kyosho or 9.5 center diff to use a plastic spur eventually. I only ran on VERY high grip surfaces so I find the pinions pretty good so far. I know that going offroad will offset some of the pressure they get.

My biggest problem right now is going out to buy some 100k or 500k center diff oil, it only unloads to the front right now and my tires are pretty much bald because of it.

The plettenberg, can't say enough about it, it's really good. It never goes over 140f NEVER. The controller heats up when going over 13t pinion. But with an 11t pinion I get around 45mph.. and I have a 15t as well, which is well over 50, probably close to 60mph. The video here is with a 14t pinion. We can guesstimate about 3more mph out of the 15t pinion.

Thanks !!

Video here.... and pics of the mount fan and motor
