Which Hitec 5955 version is better... - 11.13.2006, 07:27 PM

... suitable for my emaxx:

the "robotic" or the normal rc version? Where´s the difference?

Do i understand correctly that the robot version is good for 7,2v use?

Marc.

the "normal" 5955 is best for electric vehicles because the bec usually delivers 6.0 volts, nitro vehicles can actually use the 7.2v 416oz/in rated 5995 because nothing really regulates voltage.

Another thing is that the 5995 can turn 180* (I think) instead of the normal (don't remember what the norm is).

i own both servos. the 5955 also has the heatsink case. both are great, pick the one that best fits your needs.
