No carbon fiber for it to touch. The chassis is the stock plastic and the aluminum on mine is the front and rear shock towers, front brace and a Swami wheelie Bar/brace; no way the wire would've been touching aluminum parts.
I moved the antenna forward to the hole the front brace screws in to and made a shield from 2 sheets of tin foil and 2 sheets of card board and put that in front of the ESC and fan. It's setup more as a reflector than a box to cover it up so the fan can still pull in air to keep the ESC cool. So far it's the most glitch free since I put the brushless in. If it works out after a few more runs, I'll come up with a hinge for it since I gotta flip it up to put the battery in.

So how did you wire the fan, then. Are you using a regulator?

Well it wasn't fully glitch free, I'd start getting glitching probably around 200 feet away or so. Put the fan on and it was almost a constant glitching and actually got worse the closer it was to me.
The fan is wired to the switched side of the battery. Never thought of using a regulator for it. I was thinking about maybe figuring a good size for a capaciter to put on it, like the brushed motors have.
