Heres what I got:

Pearl double base drum pedal
New drum sticks and drum mallats
Drum dampening rings and pads
Creative Zen Vision:M
Finally about $400 in cash (half is going to a real car)
thats about it...

Hope everyone's holiday was a good one!

Well, I paid for most of this myself, but the permission to buy it was mostly cause of X-Mas (have to ask my dad on $50+ orders since says I've spent waaaaaay to much on R/C - I'm starting to agree lol).

Basically, my parents gave me $200, then with it, and a bunch of my money, I bought:

Pro Peak 20Amp Dual Output Digital Power Supply (has a display telling me how many amps I'm pulling)
Duratrax Ice Charger
Hyperion LBA10 Balancer
4 Maxamps 8000mah 2S2P Lipo's for my G2R
Novak Smart Stop Low Voltage Cutoff for my G2R/Lipo's
Factory Team 18T
Mamba Competition 6800 System for the 18T
Digital Micro Servo for the 18T
2 Maxamps 1500mah 3S Lipos for the 18T
Some other stuff for the 18T (Tires and upgrades)
Dual Chamber Resonator for my dad's Jato (I blew his stock exhaust somehow lol)
Traxxas Tubes for my Nitro Revo

And finally, my brother gave me his PS2 with the multitap, 4 controllers, 12+ games, and some accessories for it. I had been asking to borrow it again for a while so he just said I could have it since he didn't play it much anymore.

Damn, you guys got a lot of (expensive) stuff! I pretty much go 2 1/2 pairs of tires, $30, some clothes, and a $40 HPI MT2 18SS. The MT2 was the best, quite possibly since I picked it out at the Team Associated garage sale :). It's worth $500+ brand new, with the following:
-MT2 18ss (normally a kit, this is already built, appears brand new) $320
-Airtronics 94357 steering servo $100
-Aitronics 94737 throttle servo ~$30
-Reedy 5cell 1100mah RX pack ~$20
-Airtronics 27mhz FM 2-channel receiver $50

So, for my parents to give it to me for paying only $40 is a steal! But even still, I got nothing compared to some of you guys!

Hi,

I bought a couple of 8XL (one from Mike) for my buggy only to realise that I need some work done to my mount b4 I can fit the motor in.

2 bodies for my Savage. Xcitor & Crowd Pleazer.

Made a 3 rotor rc flying saucer like thing (some of the parts were on Christmas sale so I took the plunge - any excuse to indulge in rc fun right ?). Finally managed a controlled flight (i.e. in control 50% of the time) during Christmas day. Pretty happy about it as my flying is very poor.

Also thinking about a BL revo but gave up after looking at the $ needed.

Regards,
Joe Ling

That giant list of stuff was bought with money out of my own pocket. I just got $200 to help me out...nothing more.

But I have to admit it is one big list lol...

Only RC related gift I got was an Airbrush compressor for painting bodies. Now I can make my RCs look as good as they go. :dft003: No more rattle can paint jobs for me.

Buddy of mine picked one of those up a month or so ago. He's still trying to figure out which CAD program to get to run it (I use CATIA, which is overkill for this type of mill). Have fun with it. PM me when you ar getting rid of your other one, I may be interested.

I have to agree with the person that comented on how "lucky" some of the kids (only an assumption there) seem to be, not only on here but on other RC boards. They should count their blessings and appreciate parents/family that have worked hard enough to be able to give gifts as extravegent as that.

I got a Crowdpleaser and a dodge ram body for my Revos....gotta get painting!

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

You run CATIA huh... That what I use at work also. I actually really like it vs ProE and UG that I used to run. For home/hobby stuff I jsut use Solidworks. Its penty powerful for RC stuff I design, but Im not that fast on it cuz I dont run it often enough.
