1) Here's a good tutorial that shows you how to disassemble Dewalt packs:

2) Depends on how the pack will be configured.

3) These cells are 3.3v 2300mah nominal and are rated at about 70amps discharge continuously. 2s2p would be 6.6v 4600mah nominal, and 140amps continuous discharge. The packs come with 10 cells, so you could do two 2s2p (to make 4s2p), and then have two cells left over.
