Wow, that was crazy! Does that truck have a center diff or seperate throttles? It looks like the front and rear were spinning at different rates at times.

Looks like he had a rear disco so just his fronts pulled him over at first.

I am speechless. That was so crazy insane, lol.

Brian - I also noticed that. Wasn't exactly sure how he did it, but it sure was cool, lol.

I won't hate on the crawlers cause it looks like fun... and it would be cool just to build a custom truck.

But I just about fell asleep watching the first video, sorry. :)

The second video is very cool.... and looks amazing. But dude, it only did that because the rocks were placed so that they made a nice wedge to grab the truck. That's a one in a million in nature.

Still it was a killer climb, sweet. I'm giving some props...

Now anyone have some good race video to wake me up? LOL

It is a clod buster. The front and rear axles are completely separate, each having it's own motor and esc. So he controls the thottles seperately (DX6 I think) as well, allowing the 'dig' action that you saw. That is the super class winner at the Nationals last year, Jason Carter.

In this picture you can see the stick chassis and get an idea of how it is set up.

Yeah, having dual throttles makes more sense than a center diff judging by how it was acting. Having dual ESC must make it much easier to climb without flipping over as much, but must be a pain to control! I have a hard enough time with one throttle! :)

I'm getting into crawling too. Opposed to off-road tracks, we have rocks in abundance here :)

he made it look WAY easier than it was. the video doesnt do it justice. what it does how well is the 130 deg plus undercut of the rock

It is incredible... no doubt. That was badass.

I was kinda taking a jab at the crawlers in general....shame on me. :)

I thought the same thing when it was on Inside R/C TV show. It's cool and lame at the same time, hee hee. No worries, I've thought the same thing about racing too. We make fun of ourselves at the track all the time.
