Yeah, that solid part for normal electric thingies is the catch.

Well, here is what i found out; Horizon's so called 'pro' version is RTR, so not a pro KIT. the advantages of the pro kit vs the non pro kit;

-threaded aluminum shocks over plastic shocks
-aluminum front/rear braces on the diffs (which basically are simple lasercutted from sheet by the looks of it)
-CF servo mount (will be replaced in the conversion anyway?)
-still no aluminum braces between the rear/front diff
-still no aluminum/cf plate on the servo saver
-7075 lower plate. (this is, with the threaded shocks, the biggest difference)


Still not worth the big pile of extra money IMO.

Seems to me like they are after scoring money on the good name of the 'pro kit' version.
