On only 2s lipo I don't think that drastic of measures needs to be taken. The Mamba controller should handle it fine if geared it properly. I said it would cause heat problems before because that is what high KV motors do. However, you aren't putting that many volts through it and the motors are very efficient. Juts make sure to monitor temps while you find the sweet spot to gearing.
