This guy has a sweet go cart thats electric, if only it were powered by brushless. Its insane! ENJOY!

does anyone know what BL motors that can be put on a go-cart and an esc for 120V or so compatability?
*by any chance would a 3080 work?

That slamball vid is funny. Personally, when someone does something stupid like that, they have no one to blame but themselves when they get hurt.

The go-cart thing is cool too. Definitely needs a BL motor. :) I should think a 3080 could do that...if geared right. After all, it's all about motor loading...

IMO, the motor would be the easiest part. It's the controller that would be more difficult. Getting FETs to handle the high voltage and high current is gonna be expensive. Maybe get the system off a prius (is even that BL?). :)

If you click his name he has a ton more of videos to show how he built it. It sucks that he uses 4 car batterys.

The 1st cart is fast. 2nd cart doesnt look like it has any oomph..

I have seen that slam ball movie before... but man, he went high!! lol But he is the one to blame.

I personally don't find any humor in that video whatsoever. Its sad, really, to see someone get hurt doing something regardless. I would be less sypathetic if he was doing something inherintly dangerous, like playing with a gun or lighting stuff on fire. I wonder what the yearly statistics are for Trampoline related accidents. Probably higher than you'd imagine.

Yeah, maybe it is a bit callous, but I get tired of seeing people doing dumb things and then wondering why they get hurt. And usually, the same people end up trying to blame someone else or even sue someone else so they can profit by it. There will always be people that do things others wouldn't.

I wasn't amused to see the guy braking his leg and hanging in the hoop..

his friends thought it was pretty funny though. Perhaps they are the lame asses/idiots who got him into it. sometimes it's hard to judge over other peoples actions/motivation.

From my personal point of view, i didn't had the idea that his 'friends' where lauging because of stress, they where just amused to see him hanging in the loop.. one wanted to help, but walked right after the other when he saw he walked away. Critical age, i know..
