The go-cart thing is cool too. Definitely needs a BL motor. :) I should think a 3080 could do that...if geared right. After all, it's all about motor loading...

IMO, the motor would be the easiest part. It's the controller that would be more difficult. Getting FETs to handle the high voltage and high current is gonna be expensive. Maybe get the system off a prius (is even that BL?). :)
Jeez, thats a bit of a callus outlook.
I personally don't find any humor in that video whatsoever. Its sad, really, to see someone get hurt doing something regardless. I would be less sypathetic if he was doing something inherintly dangerous, like playing with a gun or lighting stuff on fire. I wonder what the yearly statistics are for Trampoline related accidents. Probably higher than you'd imagine.

Yeah, maybe it is a bit callous, but I get tired of seeing people doing dumb things and then wondering why they get hurt. And usually, the same people end up trying to blame someone else or even sue someone else so they can profit by it. Call it the pessimistic side of me (although I prefer the term "realist"), but it seems like it's always someone else's fault.
