Sounds like one of those feigao 380c motors, though i can't imagine one selling for that cheap.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Yes it did. It was a no reserve Auction. I had it on my watch list and when I saw what it sold for it made me sick. I think I deleted it, I think. I will check.

I think the design of that big Feigao motor is identical to the ones made by Kontronik and they are known as the Tango. Check them out here: www.kontronikusa.com/motors/tango.html
Good for drilling if you ask me.

Those could be good in a high-voltage setup. They may have similiar performance to a 22 series motor..

Anyone think they would be better than a 14XL on 10s?

I saw lipomaxx's 6 and 7 turn 380c motors and I'm sure they didn't sell for $5. They were at $45 each with 7 hours left.

If only Mike can carry the Kontronik line of FUN motors, then you people would get the same (if not better) performance as the 19 and 22 series motors at lower prices. These are top notch powerplants and very affordable as well.

Why better? would the efficiency be better? or the torque? the lehner motors have got segmented magnets, i dare to say that those motors don't have that.

Go to towerhobbies.com and type kontronik in the search engine, choose a FUN series motor and READ the specifications: it says the magnet is a nickle plated and segmented powerdym. Probably if the 19 series has an upper hand over the FUN series, it would be the ability to change wind configuration. The price of the FUN-600( equavilent to the 1940-1950) is only 149.99 while the smallest of the 19 series is sold for at least 200 dollars. Now this is a real deal. Dont ya think so?

Thats the internal heat, however, with a temp reader your external heat of the motor should be 100 deg.C if the internal heat is 150.

sorry for my misbehavior. I didn't treat you like i should. that motor REALLY is cool!!!! and for an unbeatable price as well. You got me enthusiastic for sure..! They do put that segmented part at all the motors of kontronic though.. :M:
