For some reason I read this as Tekno's system at 1st.. lol

I would be inclined to go for the 13xx or the 1550 (for a touch of stupid) if you are mostly bashing w/ friends. Should be interesting to see how these motors do.

I just got the 1350kv for my rc8t.... (backordered from amain and now its in!!!) and i'm running it on 5s geared for 41-43mph on a big track....just looking for the least amount of heat...the most amount of torque.....and consistency...

1350 is def a tad lowin the rpm range on 5s. My 2.5d(1650kv) is decent on 5s but something around 1700-1750 would be better IMO. On 6s I vote for the 1350 or 1550 if you want stupid speeds!

I'd make my decision on desired speeds rather than minor eff differences.
thats plenty. thats actually what I run in my e-revo and its more then enough. Right now I plan on running 1400kv on 6s in a hyper 9e. Was actually going to run it on 5s but neu had a good deal on the 6s pack so thats what I ordered.

My main thing with low kv is the less restrictive gearing, especially with these bigger 5mm shafts. I might not be able to buy 4 pinions (i use only mikes) at 15.00 or so apiece, the lower kv allows me to settle for something not necessarily right but i won't burn it down. I plan to try something, I have a 2250 lehner 10t motor (1184kv) I plan to put this in a 8T on 5s for starters, i only have a quark 125 that has a chance to run this beast right now. In my twinforce, center diffed (51 tooth mod-1) with 1/8 buggy gearing the motor can pull a 19 tooth pinion, I figure with truggy diffs, i should be able to do the same easily on 5s and eventually 6s

Another thing, I have a bad habit of taking a path less followed. if someone recommends something, I have gone another route, not to insult them, but that's the established route, I look for different options. I guess it comes from my slotcar days, People wanted rpm's, I wanted torque

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
