I have heard from a couple local guys that the v11's seem to have a rather shorter life than the cheaper motor. Both motor's are the lower price range end for me. But I didnt want to "waste" the extra money on a motor that I plan on replacing sooner rather than later down the road. Plus the fact it may not last the amount of time that I plan on using it.

Word on da skreet is my chassis and 2 sets of body panels should arrive on Friday. One set of panels is a custom dealy-O and the other is a solid paintjob.
I will post up some pic's of the parts pile when my chassis gets here at the end of this week.

Still undecided on the wheels.
what size pinions are you using ?. If you get mayhem's be prepaired to wait a lillte bit .
The only thing I'm adding to the motor's are wire and solder.
I was planning to do a little building tonight. I still may do a little.
But Duke Energy called and said they are cutting power from 10:30pm-11:30pm for service tonight. That sounds like a 4am to 5am type deal to me. But I'm sure they have their reasons.
It's not like I'm in a huge hurry anyway. As usual, there are a few little things I had not thought about purchasing/needing yet.

What type of upper's are you8 planning to run?
You may get glitching if you dont have capacitors on your motors .
If you mean upper links . Im using revo aluminum push rods # 5318x & 5319x. Are you going to run the shocks inverted or regular ?.
I've never used caps before and certainly have not had any issues. Let's not jinx it.
In fact, as far as my crawlers go, I have never even unraveled the antenna on the receiver. It still has the original ziptie from packaging. You can see it in the picture below. I'm not saying "Do It" like that. But it has worked for me.
I figure the only time my crawler is more than 5'-10' away from me is when I kick it.
I was able to invert the shocks and mount them. Which if it can be done that way is what I prefer on my crawlers. Get the shock body & oil weight down lower on the rig. I have run into a couple of instance's to where I had to mount them "right side up".
