Thanks for the info on the Medusa.
I got a 8-B with a Neu 1512 2d/s and the current Revo with my Medusa 36-60-2000.
Would the it be good idea to run the 1512 in the 8-T and the Medusa in the 8-B ?
Or would the Neu also be a bit small for the 8-T ?

The 1512 would be better than the medusa in the 8ight-t on 4s. The kv is a bit high but it'll work until you can get a larger motor.

Well since I am very happy with the Neu in my buggy and I dont want to fry it I guess it will have to stay in the buggy.
What would be a good choice for the 8-T on 4S, CC 2200 ? or a Medusa ? (Neu is a bit pricey since I will bash it only).

Depends on how good your packs are. I'd choose a medusa 70-2300 for 4s or a CC 2200.

I run Zippy 4S 20-30C, they tend to run a bit hot in my 8-B with the 1512.

Yeah, that pack would get warm I am sure. Have you thought about picking up a bigger battery, or just better quality/higher C rating?

Well not really unless I have to, I got 4 of them and one PQ 5000mAh.
For my use PQ is too pricey.
I guess I might have to go for new packs with the tryggy, any suggestion on Zippy or similar cells for the truggy. I will use the MMM so 5S or 6S is ok.

Bashing with the 8T, I'd use a 1515/2.5D on 5s geared for 40. That would be a killer combo.

How many packs do you need/want?

Well depends on the mAh rating and run time, I would say 2 or 3.

Go for some neu or hyperion packs, both well priced.

If you want one of the best packs, go for Hyperion, very good prices. These things will throw your truck around like a hairy monkey would throw around a lazy hooker.

4s 5500mah 35C/65C pack - $172

5s 4200mah 35C/65C pack - $165

4s 5000mah 25C/45C pack - $128

5s 5000mah 25C/45C pack - $160

I run 5s Zippy-h 5000mAH packs in my 8ight-t on a Neu 2.5d every day racing, they are more than enough and only 100ea if you want to save money. Ive had these for about 1/2 a year now anyway.
