One of the reasons why I'm not using anything related to RC is because I'm bored of my street.
Curbs are getting boring now, and so is the little "hump" in the grass that would take it go flying.
But now, it's just driving in a oval, up the street, up the driveway, over the hump, 2nd hump, off the curb, repeat.
Ahh..Exactly why we race!!! It's always more fun when there's someone to beat on as you go around the track

You can only race on a track!
Pegasus is the nearest one I believe (Other than the one my friend built in his backyard, raced a slash there, good lord I was awful. Hitting everybody, the trees, etc!). And Pegasus is like 2 hours away, one way!
For an on road track all you need is some asphalt, something to mark corners, a little cheap grape soda to spray in the turns for traction and a bud or two to run with! That's how our local club got started. Now there are enough members that we have a permanent track and a AMB lap counter, but it all started as a bunch of parking lot crashers. It's all up to you and your level of interest!=)
