The Lehner Basic 5300 with the MGM (120 amp) controller is a great combo for a BL TC running a six cell pack or a 7.4v LiPo. The MGM 90 amp controller would be fine if you are only going to run up to the 7.4v LiPo.
Sometimes, just for speed runs, I will switch to a 9 cell GP2200 pack (which fits perfectly in the space for a 6 cell GP3300 pack).
It may cost a more than the Novak, but it works great.

ygguB naM....... I think I've spoken to you in the Team Associated B4 forum 2-3 years ago. You were the one who recommended me to use a 6 turn V2 motor to make my B4 go 50mph. Wow, that was sometime ago. Well I was able to push it beyond 50mph with a 480 brushless motor at 12volts. It was an exciting ride for sure.
The name is Alawi. You can call me Al.
Nice to meet you!
yeah my friend was saying it wasn't that fast...well i just purchased two 2sp 8000mah li poly's from max amps so that opens some doors up i guess cause i know they have way more out put than what i normally use.....so what about that 380c 6 that everyone was talking about?
