Yea I really do hope to be of some help for everyone on here where MGM is concerned. At least for as long as we are here in Prague. Right now it is for two to three years, and could be extended for up to four years if all goes well. We love the new school for the kids, and our house is great so why not. Once our things arrive we will be golden.

I think if MGM could set up some kind of small US presence or at least contract through someone here to handle warranty issues and the like that they would have better success. The are very good controllers although their software interface left a little to be desired last time I used it. Hopefully some headway can be made and doors opened for us stateside in regards to this.

I agree with you, and all I can do is try to get something cooked up to better our success with using their controllers, and getting better customer services. We were out and about today trapsing all over town, but I have yet to pull up the MGM address and put it into our GPS, so I can see what part of town they are in. This place is quite beautiful. We were on the St Charles bridge today, which is where XXX 2, and Mission Impossible was filmed. There is just so much to do and see here, and the place is very busy with tourists.

The address is on MGM's website, the Dvorky brothers say that they are located in Zlin.. About 300KM from Prague.

OH crap I thought that it would be closer to the capital. That is about 150 miles from here, which would take about two hours to get there. Man I was hoping that they would be like across town so I could just jump on the train once in a while and stop over there. This will now end up being a weekend project for me. Oh well I will surely visit with them anyway. I will let you guys know when I do. Thanks for the imput.

Well it looks like it would fit into a Baja 5b, but not much else. I would assume mostly for the 1/5th scale and larger. So what are you planning to do with it? Can you post up the specs of that one?

I have exchanged emails with Martin Dvorsky a few times now and once our van arrives we will drive out to meet with them at the MGM shop/factory just to get aquainted and discuss issues dealing with them from the USA and see if there is anything that can be done to better relations warranty wise. All we can do it try. The wife and I are discussing taking a weekend trip to Zlin so we can spend the night there and wonder about the area, and at the same time visit with Martin. So it shoulc be interesting enough. Our van shoud be here in a few weeks, we hope.

One thing, Do Not Be Afraid to order directly from them... When I opened the package, I could smell the ESC. It was that fresh, custom made feeling that I got. Package arrived in about 2 weeks. I'm am really wanting to get 3x 25063-3 ESCs, just waiting for a response from Martin. And, there were no surprise charges(or any at all) when I picked it up from the post office.

This baby will be going into my 1/5th scale Rampage MT. This ESC will be able to push my 3080-8 HiAmp to the limit and still have 100A to spare. With the 100A,12S ESC; I've been only using 1/3rd of the power of the LMT 3080. I am really excited to get to work on my RCs again, it's been a while since then.

So my goal is to try to get this motor to hit 15KW constant. And that's calculating voltage drop @ 3.5 Volts & 95% Efficiency. I know I would probably have to gear it very high, say for 80-90 MPH.

the motor ran over a grand after everything...
I will be using my 3080-8 HiAmp, and using it in the same Rampage MT, or I may put it in my 4x4 FG Monster. I'm not sure yet. I might not have enough room on the FG.

I'm thinking of getting a Neu 44 series as well... but not sure of the power capabilities... Maybe brushless pocket quad?..

I am converting a FG 4x4 Baja Comp and am looking at this ESC, have a 2230 1Y on its way to push it around on 12s, have you made any progress on your project aqwut. I used to have 2 MGM 280 6s ESCs but i did not like them very much as they kept burning up and having brake and programming issues. What are the new ones like??

Not much progress since my last post friend. This year I plan on spending more time on RCs (I say that every year)...
