OK, bringing the 5th scale savvy back from the dead...
Anyways, I just traded a guy for a set of the HPI savage 5t tvps, custom motor mount, and center driveshafts!
So I will have something to start with and maybe, just maybe I can get this beast rolling! He also has it setup for a 1/4 scale seteering serov, which I am also getting from him. I will give it a try with the 1521 2y on 10s lipo with the lt10 esc. Gear conservatively at first. Not sure if I will run the 5t body with this chassis, but I want to get a feel for power requirements.
I really need to get back into rc, but I lost a guy at work (he moved to texas) and I am also trying to get my house ready to put on the market. I have been doing drywall repairs and installing lights all weekend. Plus I put in an offer on a big house today... Hope I can get it!
I will try to get all of this together and put some time on it... Maybe???

Very likely!
Having one less employee at work has caused more work for me... Plus I decided to start cleaning my entire building and doing all of the needed repairs. Save for the roof, too cold and windy up there. That will have to wait for the late spring!

You might already have something better given your line of work, but I stole these from my wife, and they work GREAT for drywall sanding....no more dust in the eyes, and they dont fog as bad as other goggles.

I laughed at those when I read what they were but then again I HATE wearing my googles due to fogging. I might have to get the pink set
