I find the stock maxx tire a good all-round tire. They are very heavy, but also almost impossible to kill.
These days I run them reversed, perfect for snow-bashing.

Picked up a set of Commando's and Bow Ties today. They are REALLY sticky tires! They just stick to my hand when I was putting them on.
