No, i wanted to get one for the lightweight maxx, but i had quite a few setups laying around to power it up.
My first setup was the bigmaxx with the schulze.
I was always a sucker for the lightweight truck of harald-hans on 4S lipo with the hv-maxx.. But a lighter setup (such as a wanderer XL) can be more powerfull. That's what kept me from buying one.

I remember you was talking about trying one. Just didn't know if you did or not.
I think a l motor would do better in a light weight. I like the 1512 in mine. It does
really well.
Peace!

I am using some 3.3 stuff. I am not sure on the exact weight. I don't have a fine detail scale. Here have a look.

I used a very accurate Metler Toledo scale... but it looks like urs may be heavier... this is mine.... well.. I'm still happy with 8.35.. but I would be happier with 7Lbs and under Like Serum...

A CF G2 chassis is lighter by 2 ounces I believe, so that would help. Uh, a single speed tranny would help out a few ounces, as well as losing the bumpers and a few other small things like that...

The rear bumper can go for sure. Would you be able to remove material from that diamondplate chassis?

Doesn't there come a point where it can get too light? Remove too much weight and traction begins to suffer I would think...

But at the same time, there is less mass to move. Of course if you go too light and too fast, the air could get under the chassis and lift the truck off the ground... I've seen vids where this happened with high-speed touring cars that apparently didn't have enough down force.
