3. Custom Works Dominator with a PDI (Forgot which ones I had) controller and an AJ's Black Magic Pro Stock 82,000rpm motor (Later went with an Aveox brushless set up), RC10 stadium truck with Team Pit Stop Oval conversion (Chain drive was awesome) and added the PDI controller and Black Magic Pro Stock motor and my long wheel base, all aluminum Clod Buster with 2 PDI controllers, AJ's Black Magic Clod buster motors. I wish I never sold them.
Those PDI's were supposed to be awesome. I have a couple of the turbo zetas that I got on ebay but never used. The heatsink is basically a big cube of aluminum.

Yes, they were the best money could buy at the time. They were used for anything demanding enough. Too bad we didn't have lipos when they were available.

I might haves used it for a year or so when I got it (way back when it came out ). Since about Jan. this year I've jumped in head first. Now I've got 3 BL cars and one nitro

BTW: Nice Site Guy's I've already bought a ton of stuff from members here and a few pieces from the sponsors. Still planning my order from Mike.

edit: when checking link in post goto the AYK-Marui-Hirobo-Misc section about 7/8 of the way down to find the buggy.

I would have liked to get into R/C many years ago. There have always been other things that have taken up my time and money. I had planned on getting into the onroad racing, but when I got a glimps of the EMaxx I just had to h ave one. Now I have 6 and cannot wait to introduce my two boys into the hobby when we get to Korea.

on an off for about 23 years (only really 'on' for the past 8-10 years)

a nikko 4wd truck when i was about 14 - don't remember the name. it would drive on flat surfaces in 2wd, and when i needed 'power', the 4wd would kick in automatically (usually over rough stuff, or on inclines). that would be a nice feature on today's trucks!

Two of them are stock for the boys to get started with. Once they are ready they will get two of the hopped up vehicles as kind of like a graduation into the real bashing scene. The UE SuperMaxx and the FLM Maxx are my toys. GOt to have some back ups. What shall I go for next???

1. 16 (me and my bro). You never know which one of us is posting.
2. about 13 years a kid. Started with those playskool ones. Been driving nonstop since we can remember.
3. After 10 years in RC we got our first proportional control cars with ESCs and a "real" servo. Got Rustler XL-5s a year later, heck we researched these things for a few years BEFORE we got 'em and knew every component of the truck the first second we pulled them out of the box. We bought whatever we could afford (~5-10 bucks a month). You can't imagine how long it took us to save money for RC cars/parts. Now we got (minimum wage) jobs though, so it's barely enough for cheap electric revos.
