Sorry for the delayed reaction here...
The XLB is 16.5'' center to center wheelbase and just shy of 16'' wide. In stock trim its around 10.5 lbs and actually thats what my converted one wound up weighing in at. In reality it doesnt need any more power than your typical maxx. It looks big, but in reality its basically a Mammoth ST with a extended chassis and a buggy body.
If yout decide to do one I can send you the drawing of the motor mount I designed up for it. Mike machined it up and it was a drop in conversion. (except for a slight miscalculation on my part of a couple screw hole locations.):002:
The one thing I can say about it. Everywhere I take it, people stop to look at it. Its a little different.
I think the CEN 7.7 or the HPI Baha would both be sweet conversions. But they will take a little more power. They are quite a bit heavier than the normal MT.
BTW: I really like seeing the rc's that are a little diferent. I'm getting sick of seeing e-maxx and revos. over and over. Not that they arent great trucks, but I love seeing the ones that make you stop and look for a minute. Did you guys see the Wild Dagger that someone is doing on here. Love that thing.:027:
