Yeah, it's exclusive to Kershaw. Says so here, on his site: http://204.186.93.64/BrushlessMotors-Leopard.htm

Heh heh, Hobbyking isnt a naughty word on this forum, only on the idiot forum ( traxxas ).

Really impressive seeing the size of that truck compared to everything else at the track, handles pretty well too for it's size & weight..

yippieee!

just have received my leopard 4082 1500 kv! after I had problems with my leo 4074 (smoked winding, don't know the reason) I am back with a leo. the ts x801 I am currently using is great, but gets too hot for my taste.

It's for my lrp truggy, I just love the feeling of a little too much power.

And I love torque, especially at low rpm. That's why I go with 1500kv on 5s (running 5s for ages now). I wished they had the 1600kv, but was not available.

the 2000kv 4074 was a good motor, but I am too used to lower kv at 5s, like 1600-1700kv as I had before.

keep you posted

I have the 4082 1600kv (originally wanted the 1500kv), running on 6s zippy 30c lipos in an MBX5T.

Pretty awesome so far, no complaints at all, especially for the price ($85).
Heaps of power, stays cool, smooth and just a brilliant performer all round.
I don't race it though.
