I hate computers! - 06.05.2008, 02:22 PM

My paypal multiorder shipping module just gave out, and now no printers work on any of my computers! I have tried installing different printers, new drivers, the whole shebang. What a great day for printing to go out!

Did I mention that I hate computers?

So all printers failed on all computers at once? That sounds too odd to be coincidence. I assume you are using network printers? If so, try connecting a printer directly to a computer via printer cable or USB and see if that works. You might just have a network issue.

Unplug/restart your network router - you may have a ip conflict

reset the router, no worky. I plugged the printer into the computer and reinstalled it, still no worky. Another printer now works but of course it is out of ink

I really need to just wipe my computer and reload everything. The USB drives have been funky for a while and my nice optical wireless mouse stopped working a few months ago. The companion keyboard still works though, which is strange.

Use system restore feature to find out if it is software or network.
